The US-based company Ookla, which provides fixed-line and mobile broadband speed testing, troubleshooting, and network performance analysis, was acquired by Ireland-based outsourced IT & professional services company Accenture for $1.2B. This acquisition will strengthen Accenture’s capabilities across network intelligence, communications technology, and AI-driven digital transformation.

Netomnia Acquired By Nexfibre Networks

In the UK, Netomnia , the provider of fibre network infrastructure services for consumer and businesses, was acquired by Nexfibre Networks, a wholesale only fibre to the home  provider, for $2.7B, marking a natural step in the consolidation of the national fibre market, creating a scaled and sustainable wholesale platform while preserving the YouFibre retail brand and enhancing long-term infrastructure and financial strength.

Also, ARKA Group, a Connecticut-based space technology platform developer, was acquired by Virginia-based IT and professional services company CACI International for $2.6B. Synchronoss Technologies Acquired By Lumine Group

In the Network Integration subsector, a US-based provider of white-label cloud, messaging, digital and network management solutions, Synchronoss Technologies, was acquired by Lumine Group, a Canada-based private equity firm with a focus on communications and media vertical markets, for $258M.  The seller’s technology allows the buyer to deepen the exposure to telecom cloud infrastructure and subscriber facing software.
